This witty yet informative clip from Frank coffee shop in Austin, Texas, is a great example of how a café can leverage online video to spread the word about its drinks. The promo, featuring barista Tyler Wells, quickly highlights the multitude of coffee prep methods the café employs, and does so in a well-filmed format that hits the basics about Chemex and other techniques but doesn’t go into the type of info-overload mode that so often alienates average customers. Also, the welder’s facemask Wells puts on when lighting up the siphon brewer—we’d like to see someone wear one of those in a barista competition.
