Car smashes into San Francisco's Samovar

Not much has slowed down San Francisco’s high-flying Samovar Tea Lounge over the past few years, but on Sunday the shop’s Sanchez Street location suffered a fairly serious hiccup: an SUV rolling into the café’s façade. According to the SF Public Press, no one was seriously injured in the accident, but the café closed for seven hours and will have to undergo repairs in coming days. Samovar owner Jesse Jacobs remained upbeat overall. “This is sort of a walk in the park as challenges go,” he said. “But it’s one of the biggest scares, definitely.” Samovar has two other locations in San Francisco and blends and markets its own product.
